Hi, I was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I don't mind saying that I am scared to death. But the book the Nurse Navigator at St Elizabeth gave me answered so many questions for me. And I just wanted to say Thank You

5/5 I just found out that I have breast cancer and St. Elizabeth Breast Center gave me one of your green bags with all kinds of information in it. Thank you! Women definitely have to stick together. This is a terrible disease and we need to find a cure. I live in Gallatin County in Warsaw, KY and the first week-end in June is our Relay For Life, so now I will be lighting a candle for myself....... Keep up the good work!

4/15 The blessings that I have received from your generosity go well beyond the cosmetic comfort you have given to me. I had no idea that there was a void in my life that the new prosthetics would begin to fulfill. Emotional issues are complex for breast cancer fighters. By helping me deal with some that I have been neglecting, I feel my spirit lifted and my outlook brightened. Thank you for your kindness to me and your dedication to help breast cancer survivors.

***As of October 2008, Chicks and Chucks has helped 20 women with wigs, gowns, prosthetics. We have also purchased Resource Books for St Luke & St Elizabeth Hospitals. These books are handed out to the newly diagnosed Breast Cancer patients. ****
